Introducing: Allbirds Apparel

If you've been following me for a while you know that I love sustainable brands. I try my best to purchase secondhand and when I buy new, I like to make sure that the brand I'm buying from is doing the most to be eco-friendly and create a well made, sustainable item. Enter Allbirds. Now, you probably know them for their sneakers made from renewable materials. They recently launched their first apparel collection and I was lucky enough to be part of the launch campaign!

I paired this cozy Wool Jumper with my thrifted overall dress to transition my art teacher vibe into fall. I LOVE the color, it looks like a muted purple and is called Orchid. This is Merino wool so be sure to hand wash it.

I also picked out the TrinoXO™ Tee in a moody green color named Forest. It fits like a boxy crop top so I paired it with my high rise funky thrifted pants and velvet booties. I am currently wearing it while I type up this post so you know I genuinely love it. And, fun fact this tee is made with crab shells!

My favorite part about this collection is that every single piece shows the carbon footprint, it is so transparent! The jumper footprints start at 16.4 kg CO2e for the classic knit & 18.7 kg CO2e for the racked knit. The tee has a 6.3 kg CO2e. Think of this measurement like a nutrition label for your closet.

Check it out and let me know what you would wear. I'm currently eyeing the Puffer in white.
